# Journal Over time, I have come to appreciate the importance of documenting my thoughts. I began writing this kind of journal back then because I realized I sometimes struggle communicating my thoughts. Thus, I occasionally started jotting down what I considered an _ideal_ response toward some common questions. And the practice ends up as a habit that simplifies things for me because, when such questions arise, I can simply repeat what I have previously written. This process also aids me in refining my perspectives. Ideas often pop up at random moments -- whether I'm half-asleep, taking a walk, reading, or engaged in various other activities. With an editable document, I can better organize these thoughts into a more cohesive structure for interpretation and leverage every insight instead of relying solely on my memory, which can sometimes fail me. I choose the term _journal_ with the hope to describe a collection of writings that are more opinionated, typically about my subjective experience or way of seeing the world. Nothing here would be set in stone. My viewpoints shift, and with every new experience and perspective I encounter, they hopefully mature. I wish the word "journal" could also represent my intent -- a space I can continually refine to reflect my evolving values. If you notice any flaws, please don't hesitate to [let me know](Feedback.md). Anyway, I hope you enjoy my writing, and let's nurture our collective wisdom and embrace the future with curiosity and an open mind. --- On the order I added them from earliest to latest: - [Decision-making](Decision-making.md) - [Learning Tools](Learning%20Tools.md) - [Reading List](Reading%20List.md) - [Important Areas](Important%20Areas.md) - [Travel Stories](Travel%20Stories.md)
